Learni is designed for NZ children Year 1–13 (ages 5–18). The AI tutor Earni automatically adjusts difficulty, font size, and question style to suit Junior (Yr 1–3), Middle (Yr 4–6), and Senior (Yr 7–13) learners.

Yes. All lessons are written against the NZ curriculum across Maths, Reading, Science, Business Studies, Geography, History, Languages, Spelling, and Digital Smarts / AI & Tech (aligned to the NZ Digital Technologies curriculum, CT Progress Outcomes CT1–CT6, and NCEA Digital Technology standards). We update content as the curriculum evolves.

Most apps test first. Earni teaches first — always in the sequence Hook → Story → Show → Check → Practice. If a child gets something wrong, Earni never says "incorrect." Instead it shows the concept from a different angle and tries again. Earni has infinite patience.

The default rate is 20 stars = $1 NZD, adjustable by you in Settings. Stars split automatically into Save (50%), Invest (20%), Spend (20%), and Give (10%) jars. You pay your child directly — Learni is just the ledger. There is no money stored in the app.

Not at all. Learni is designed for grown-ups to set up once — you add your child, Earni does the teaching. You see a weekly summary of what they covered, how they scored, and how many stars they earned — in plain English, not teacher jargon.
